Printed in only 300 numbered copies, this amazing box set released by the Pineapple Records label contains on four coloured LPs a large amount of officially unreleased material relating to the recording sessions for "Rubber Soul", the Beatles' sixth album released on December 3, 1965 and dazzling testimony of the stylistic maturity achieved by the Liverpool four.

The first disc contains the American version of the album copied from the original reels, the second an "alternative" version with different mixes and takes, the third songs omitted from the final set list and alternative takes and the fourth other material (basic tracks, overdubs etc. .) recorded during sessions held at EMI's Abbey Road studios between October and November '65. All material has been remixed and remastered using the best audio sources available on the unofficial market.
