This rare collection of alternate versions and outtakes from The Beatles' fifth album, "Help!", released in August 1965, includes not only
album tracks like "Help!" and "Ticket to Ride," but also rare takes of previously unreleased tracks recorded during the sessions, such as "If You've Got Troubles" and "That Means a Lot," as well as singles from the same period, like "Yes It Is.

 
" The opening track, "Help!", begins with a surprising Paul counting, and features a previously unreleased take in which the opening line, "Help! I need somebody," and John's vocals are double-tracked (recorded with the same melody at the same pitch). The memorable ending of "Ticket to Ride" is played to completion without fading out. "Advice" also includes a surprising alternate mix with a larger, more centered drum position, as well as subtle variations on the mix that will delight aficionados.
 

Also included are related tracks like "If You've Got Trouble," originally recorded for the album "Help!" but never released, and "Bad Boy" and "I'm Down," which were relegated to other albums and single B-sides. In addition to "Help!" and "Yes It Is," the unreleased track "That Means A Lot" features incredibly rare behind-the-scenes recordings of multiple rehearsals and recordings.
