This live recording from 1985 captures LA blues rock band Canned Heat's unmatched vibes. Formed in 1965 by Bob Hite and Alan Wilson, the band rose to fame as the "kings of boogie" and were cemented in the decade's folklore by their legendary Woodstock 1969 performance. Wilson, a visionary of early blues-rock, penned timeless classics like 'On the Road Again' and 'Going Up the Country' - songs that remain essential to the genre's history. Although both founding members passed away far too soon, Canned Heat's spirit continues through powerful live shows and recordings such as this one, which is a true testament to a fine outfit.
