As part of their 1974 winter tour, Pink Floyd played a stunning show at the Empire Pool (or as you may now know it - Wembley Arena). As part of their set, the band played their groundbreaking album The Dark Side Of The Moon in its entirety. There is little left to say about the importance of that particular album; it is, after all, one of the most successful records of all time, and rightly so. This recording captures the band at what many would argue is their peak, with the songs taking on a harder, more punchy edge. The guitar work from David Gilmour is genuinely breathtaking at times, and the sheer scope and ambition of the songs is magnificently represented throughout; just check out those vocals on 'The Great Gig In The Sky' - stunning..
