In 1969, Led Zeppelin exploded onto the music scene, releasing their debut album in January and ‘Led Zeppelin II’ in October. These albums established them as superstars, transitioning from the blues-rock scene to pioneers of heavy rock. The year was defined by intense, touring-driven success, designed to break the band in America as quickly as possible, overcoming initial critical disinterest to achieve massive commercial success. The release of ‘Led Zeppelin II’ was largely recorded and overdubbed during their gruelling US tours.

Led Zeppelin’s 10 October 1969 performance at L’Olympia in Paris is considered a “must-have”. This classic broadcast is described as a “barn burner” with a powerful, intense atmosphere, showcasing the band’s rapid maturation into a premier live act with raw, high-energy performances. Broadcast for “Musicorama” on Europe 1, this gig features exceptional, high-voltage renditions of their early repertoire - including “Heartbreaker” and a “How Many More Times” medley—highlighting Jimmy Page’s improvisation and Robert Plant’s powerful vocals. This double vinyl release contains the complete broadcast of the show.

This limited-edition collector’s vinyl is hand numbered and is restricted to just 500 copies; hand pressed on splatter vinyl. Due to the manufacturing process each vinyl will have its own individual pattern – a true one of a kind!
