The "California Touch" 2LP red vinyl set is a highly sought-after, unofficial live archival release mapping the raw energy of early-era U2. Culled entirely from high-fidelity, professional soundboard audio sources, this release documents the band bridging the gap between their debut album and its follow-up

Discs 1 & 2 (Sides A, B, and C) — The Main Show: Captured on May 15, 1981, at California Hall in San Francisco, CA during the legendary Boy Tour. This recording captures a historic performance that was professionally taped under the direction of the Bill Graham Archives. Because of the band’s short catalog at the time, the setlist famously features energetic live encores where songs like "I Will Follow," "11 O'Clock Tick Tock," and "The Ocean" are played for a second time to an ecstatic crow

Disc 2 (Side D) — The Bonus Tracks: Taken from a soundboard feed on November 4, 1981, at the Metropol in Berlin, West Germany. This portion captures the group just after the release of their sophomore album, October, showcasing early live arrangements of songs like "Gloria" and "Rejoice"
