David Bowie - Broadcast Collection 1967-1995[5CD] Limited Box Set (import)
LIMITED 5CD BOX SET!
Eighty recordings taken from various radio and television performances make up the substantial content of this unofficial five-CD box set on the Cult Legends label, which covers almost thirty years of David Bowie's career from the beginning (1967) until 1995.
The first two discs collect BBC Sessions of which the English artist was the protagonist between '67 and 1971 and then between '71 and '72, during the period in which he released his debut album and epochal LPs such as "The Man Who Sold the World", "Hunky Dory" and "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars";
The third documents the "1980 Floor Show" show held between 18 and 20 October 1973 at the Marquee in London and broadcast in a television special by the American NBC with a repertoire that combined pieces from "Aladdin Sane" and "Pin Ups" with the medley "1984" and the then unreleased "Dodo" as well as the first part of the 1990 Tokyo show broadcast in FM;
 the Japanese concert continues on the fourth CD, while the fifth presents the 1979 television appearance on "Saturday Night Live" together with Klaus Nomi and Joey Arias and the 1995 special for the program "The White Room" broadcast by Channel 4 as part of the activities to promote the album "Outside".
