In early 1991, Jimmy Page and David Coverdale came together for a short-lived but high voltage collaboration bridging two towering legacies, Led Zeppelin and Whitesnake. The result was Coverdale Page, released in March 1993, blending Page's layered, blues-rooted riffcraft with Coverdale's muscular vocals. The album landed high on the charts, peaking at number four in the UK and number five in the US, eventually going Platinum stateside. Though it never led to a full tour or a second LP, the projectre invigorated both artists creative momenta. This CD edition compiles standout cuts from the original release alongside a handful of rarities, putting forth a snapshot of two rock veterans briefly firing in sync, before diverging once again..
