The Colored Vinyl Anniversary Edition of the *Sad Wings of Destiny* LP by Judas Priest was released on Exciter and presents the original 1976 masters in a specially designed reissue. The release stays true to the iconic cover art and brings the album back on LP, with the Anniversary Edition designation emphasizing the historical character of the production. Musically, the record falls into classic rock and captures the band in a recording phase that documents the group’s early sound.

In terms of playback, this edition offers the 1976 master tapes in the form in which they were selected for this anniversary version, preserving the original presence of the recordings. The colored vinyl pressing gives the album a strong visual impact and highlights the edition as a distinct release within the Judas Priest catalog, without touching the musical foundations.

With this release, Exciter delivers an edition that both preserves the documentary integrity of the original masters and, through the colored-vinyl format, offers an alternative presentation of the work. For listeners who value the sonic substance of the 1976 recordings, the LP provides a direct connection to this phase of Judas Priest.
