Recordings of David Bowie's rehearsals at the Marquee Club in London in October 1973, in preparation for a musical performance entitled "The 1980 Floor Show," which was broadcast on NBC in the US on November 16th as part of "The Midnight Special," and during which the English star donned the role of Ziggy Stardust for the last time. Bowie (vocals and guitar) is joined by Mick Ronson (guitars), Trevor Bolder (bass), Aynsley Dunbar (drums), Mike Garson (piano) and Mark Carr Pritchard (guitars), as well as backing vocals The Astronettes (Ava Cherry, Geoffrey MacCormack and Jason Guess) and special guest Marianne Faithfull (second vocals on Sonny & Cher's "I Got You Babe"), in a selection of songs (proposed in different takes) taken from the albums "Aladdin Sane" and "Pin-Ups", plus a medley of "1984" and the then unreleased "Dodo".
