The dark lords of metal were on top form by 1973. Having released the stoner classics Master Of Reality (1971) and Vol. 4 (1972), they hit the road for an extensive tour. This recording captures the band on stage in Vicenza, Italy, and shows just what a formidable and tight live unit they were at the time. The setlist is a Sabbath fan's dream come true, with the likes of 'Sweet Leaf', 'Snowblind' and 'War Pigs' all making an appearance. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this set is the inclusion of 'Killing Yourself To Live', which they had started adding to performances in 1972, a full year before a studio version appeared on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Ozzy is in fine form throughout, and Tony Iommi's guitar solo during 'Wicked World' is nothing short of spectacular. This set offers a glimpse of Black Sabbath at their very best.
