Godsmack - 1000hp [LP]
Godsmack is an American Hard Rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of founder, frontman and songwriter
Sully Erna, guitarist Tony Rombola, bassist Robbie Merrill, and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released five studio albums,
one EP, four DVDs, one compilations album and one live album.
The band has had three consecutive number one albums -- Faceless (2003), IV (2006), and The Oracle (2010) on the Billboard 200. The band also has
20 top ten rock radio hits, including 15 songs in the to pfive, a record number of top ten singles by a rock artist.
Since 1995, Godsmack has sold over 20 million records worldwide and have proven to be one of the highest-grossing artists in the United States.
Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum hard rock heroes, Godsmack are revving up their highly anticipated sixth full-length album, 100hp, for release
on August 5th.
The lead single off the upcoming album, ''1000hp'' bursts out of the gate with the Boston group's signature stomp and newfound thrashed-up ''punk''
energy. It's a rowdy, rousing, and rough anthem that tells the story of the band's journey from playing tiny clubs to packed arenas worldwide.
Once again Godsmack teamed up with producer Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Evanescence) for the album, recording it back home in their new HQ just 30
minutes from the heart of the city.
