Bowie's Seminal 1970 Album On A Stunning Picture Disc Vinyl LP!

Picture disc version of The Man Who Sold The World album featuring the striking black and white imagery of the 1972 reissue.

The original 1970 American version of the album featured a cartoon drawing of cowboy with an exploding hat standing in front of Cane Hill asylum, alluding to the album's dark themes of insanity and isolation. The UK 1971 release, perhaps the most controversial, featured Bowie reclined on a couch, wearing a dress. He would sport the dress while promoting the album in U.S., and even had a gun pulled on him in Texas because of his androgynous display. The German release featured Bowie's head on a winged creature. 1972's reissue, seeking to capitalize on the popularity of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust era, included a black-and-white photo of Bowie in Ziggy garb.
