$ 24.98

Formed from the ashes of Jim Mankey and Johnette Napolitano's Dream 6 on the fringes of L.A.'s new wave and punk scene, alt-rockers Concrete Blonde quickly signed with IRS Records and found a home on college radio alongside labelmates like R.E.M. Available for the first time on vinyl, by the time the excellent 1994 compilation Still in Hollywood was officially released Concrete Blonde had already broken up which made it even more highly sought after by rabid fans. It encompasses unreleased material, live tracks and cover songs, the latter camp including fascinating takes on songs by Leonard Cohen, Cheap Trick, Nick Cave, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
