Beatles, The - Here Comes The Sun [LP] Limited Black Vinyl , Pop-Up Figures Gatefold (import)
LIMITED BLACK VINYL WITH POP-UP FIGURES
GATEFOLD JACKET!!
Stunning gatefold and "pop up" cover in bright psychedelic colors (inspired by that of "Abbey Road") for this limited edition LP, pressed on black vinyl and containing 13 rarities (rough mixes and studio outtakes) recorded on tape at Abbey Road between 1967 and 1970.
Among the tracks is the demo that Paul McCartney recorded in early '68 of "Step Inside Love", written by him for Cilla Black and which gave the singer from Liverpool a hit single in the spring of that year, as well as the improvised little tune "Heather" that Paul himself dedicated to his adopted daughter Linda McCartney, recorded in February 1969 during the recording sessions for Mary Hopkin's first album, which he produced (in addition to Paul, vocals and acoustic guitar, Donovan, vocals and acoustic guitar, and Hopkin herself also appear); the alternate take of the title track "Here Comes The Sun" instead contains a guitar solo not used in the final version.
The photo on the back cover features a close-up of John Lennon using the Moog synthesizer purchased by George Harrison and used during the "Abbey Road" sessions
